German Table Tennis Player Represents NAIPO En Route To Victory

Staying active is an important component of “Finding Well-being,” and NAIPO is a strong supporter of athletic endeavors all around the world. We are extremely proud to sponsor Han Ying, a German national who is one of the best table tennis players in the entire world.

An Olympic medalist, Han Ying recently won her second straight Europe CCB Top 16 Cup, held in Montreux, Switzerland. Representing NAIPO on her jersey, she lifted up her arms toward the crowd in victory after defeating the Austrian Sofia Polcanova in 5 sets:

Han Ying is known throughout the table tennis world for her style of play. At a time in history when attacking is more popular, Han has carved out a role for herself as a defensive specialist. Undaunted and undeterred by aggression, she has used her chopping skills to reach the very peaks of the sport. She won gold medals at the 2015 and 2019 European Games, and she took home a silver at the 2016 Olympics in Rio. In 2016, she also became the first European to reach the World Tour Grand Finals.

At 40 years old, Han just became the oldest winner in CCB history. Still ranked 10th in the world on the ITTF tour, she shows no signs of slowing down.

We applaud Han Ying for reaching success at the highest levels, and we hope that aspiring athletes not only in Germany but in all of Europe look up to her as a role model for living a healthy, balanced, and fruitful life.
